Parametric delay stubs

If they miss the gate, you don't miss the money.

Late Gate is a travel utility. If the aircraft is late past a buffer, you get a fixed payout. Takeoff delay or arrival delay. Locked price. Limited stubs.

Gate receipt

Late Gate

A delay cushion on a single seat. One price in. One payout out, if the aircraft is late past the buffer.

Takeoff delay
$14
Pays if the aircraft leaves later than the cushion.
Arrival delay
$9
Pays if the aircraft reaches the gate later than the cushion.

Payouts

$100 · $150 · $200

Same table for both stubs. The cushion you pick sets the payout.

How it works

Three steps. One locked price.

  1. 01

Choose a flight and a delay cushion

Look up the trip. Pick how late the aircraft must be before the stub pays.

  2. 02

    Buy a limited stub

Pay one locked price. Only a short book is written on each flight.

  3. 03

Get the payout, or keep flying

If the aircraft is late past the buffer, you receive the fixed payout. If it is not, the stub expires.

Two stubs

Takeoff or arrival. Same payout table.

The product sets the locked price. The delay cushion sets the payout. Fair, transparent pricing. No hidden load on the stub.

Takeoff delay

$14

Pays if the aircraft leaves the gate later than the cushion you pick.

Payouts $100 · $150 · $200

Arrival delay

$9

Pays if the aircraft reaches the gate later than the cushion you pick.

Payouts $100 · $150 · $200

Limited stubs

Each flight has a short book. When the stubs are gone, sales stop. That keeps the cushion honest.

Locked price

The number on the stub is the number you pay. Not every flight is listed. The pricing paper shows how the book is written.
